This policy explains what information The Claire Hotel collects when you book a stay, enquire about an event or use this website, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
When you make a reservation we collect your name, contact details, payment card details, government-issued identification and the details of your stay. Reservations are processed by our booking provider, Cloudbeds, and payment card data is handled by their payment processor rather than stored by us.
When you send an enquiry through this website or by email we collect your name, email address, phone number and whatever you choose to tell us about your plans.
When you browse this website we may collect standard technical information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring site.
How we use it
We use your information to take and manage your reservation, to send your smart lock access details before arrival, to answer enquiries, to process payments and refunds, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. If you opt in, we use your email address to send occasional news and offers. You can unsubscribe from those at any time using the link in the email.
Who we share it with
We share information with the service providers who help us run the property: our booking and payment providers, our smart lock provider, our email provider and, where you booked through them, the travel site you used. We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the safety of guests, staff and the property.

How long we keep it
We keep reservation records for as long as we need them to run the business and to satisfy tax, accounting and legal requirements. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Children
